Great site.
Double check that whole "serrated leaves" thing BTW (http://www.poison-ivy.org/html/blackberry1.htm)
A good friend of mine contracted poison ivy because it was growing mixed in with her blackberry bushes.
It also bugs me that wild strawberries grow with "leaves of three" in the same areas that my yard produces poison ivy.

I've had good success with Ortho "Brush-B-Gon" Brush Killer. I don't know how it differs from Round-up, but it is formulated specifically for poison ivy/oak and other things that develop into woody stems (as opposed to soft-stem grass and flower weeds). Spray it on the leaves of the poison ivy bush or vine, wait 4-7 days and watch the leaves change color and die. Then rip, the plant and roots out of the ground.
