That's not the only bug with IE6. We run into lots of browser "issues" since
our product records from and simulates different browsers. IE6 has trouble
with SSL in particular, with bugs in the code that saves certificates, and
frequent crashes. Try connecting to www.fedex.com with SSL via IE6 and
you'll
get a crash every time, which is only one example.
I strongly recommend that if you must use IE, stick with version 5.5.
