My sentiment is similar to yours. The best memorial that we could make to the dead, IMHO, is to rebuild the WTC and get back to business.
But I could certainly understand if folks decided that a more traditional memorial is apropriate.

Rebuilding the World Trade Center would be an excellent display of

us".)
