I planted a bunch of trees ( Wal mart specials) when I first moved
here, 10 years ago, and all but one died. It never produced anything.
This year, we have about 10 little apples on it, green ones at that.

Umm, what next. I am sure some of the myriad species of insects we
have will lay waste to it, but it would be nice to see it make it
through the fall. What's the best low cost, non- human killing thing
to put on them?
