They are Concord, snipped from a tangled mess at my sister's farm. My brother took some at the same time and I just learned that he put them in a closet and hadn't looked at them since. I'm waiting for his email to tell me if they sprouted or rotted.

We have two wild blueberry plants that we dug up from a friend's place a few years ago and transplanted to our garden. They have grown slowly but produced a handful of berries each year. The problem is birds eat the berries before we do. I'm going to have to cover them as soon as the berries appear this year. Good luck with yours Bev.

Cool!.. What variety?

I stuck some blueberry twigs in the dirt as well...some of those look to be alive, too. It was about 12 here this morning...I'm sure the wind chill was below zero...BRRRR!

Three out of the five grapevine sticks I stuck in a pot have sprouted. I'm excited. Our outside temp was 7 this morning but 47 in the greenhouse. I removed the plastic bag that has been covering my vines, watered them well and moved them from dark office to sunny greenhouse. Am now trying to design an arbor for them. Happy springtime!
