I was just checking to see how easy/hard it is to get credit. I have
enough problem paying the bills I have now, don't need any more! I used
one of those special promo convenience checks through a credit card to
pay for my new fence...it's at 3.99% for the life of the loan, and I'm
careful to pay on time and never put anything else on that card (they
are counting on me screwing up so they can up the rate to 21%). So far
(over a year into the loan) it's working as promised. It was a better
rate than I could get at the bank at the time.
