This may be kind of far fetched, but Bush got congress to pass a bill that
allows him to take over the government if he feels the need.  No conditions
or requirements set.  So, all he has to do is declare that he is running the
government.  I suspect that if McCain doesn't win that that is what will
happen.  If McCain wins it is the same as having Bush for another term.  Just
an idea.  Something to keep in mind.

That's a new one. Making it sound like "Sandanista" is especially
cute
but probably ineffective.

Personally, I think that the country is going down the tubes because
of it's people and their priorities. Who leads them down that path is
largely a matter of aesthetics.

I had heard this before. However, I wonder if anyone has ever done
studies of buffalo emissions. If you recall, buffalo once roamed the
prairies by the tens of millions. I have even heard that some
historians believe there were at one time hundreds of millions of
buffalo. Global warming didn't seem to bother them.

Of course, perhaps when we killed all the buffalo, global cooling
started. After all, that was the big issue in the 70's, if you will
recall. Perhaps we are just getting back on track to where the world
would be normally?

Just a thought, from a conservative who believes climate change is
cyclic, and our influence on it is insignificant

Ever wondered why Mars is warmer, too? It MUST be because of my SUV,
polluting it's atmosphere. Of course, the SUN has nothing whatever to
do with it. Just ask Al Gore.

You beef eaters and milk drinker oughta be ashamed of yourselves,
causing global warming by your diet.

Hops and barley productions by comparison are hardly worth mentioning.
