You can buy grain directly from a farmer. I do that sometimes, for
oats and corn. The wheat grown around here is low gluten wheat, so I
have purchased that through Bob's Red Mill. Their shipping charges
were the lowest I found, and I was pleased with the quality. I found
that the over all cost was cheaper than any of the health food stores
or other avenues I tried.
