It would seem likely that this area could be made into a catchment, if not a
full fledged pond. Water drains out of it all year and even in the worst
droughts. If that should prove possible, it would be damnably convenient. It is
about 15' higher than the highest point of the highest garden.
Sounds ideal, so long as garden irrigation did not diminish water needed for household use. Consider an intervening storage spot.
