That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. I grew up in North Dakota,
surrounded by acres and acres, and square miles of wheat fields, but had
never before heard that particular term. Just call me a "rube", and I thank
you for the elucidation.

Wheat. Wheat seed. Wheat grain. The fruit of the wheat plant. Wheat
berries is what we call them around here.
