The first thing I'd proviso is the distance between plantings to keep the
seed pure.
In my experience this is most critical with peppers. I still remember the day in the garden when I munched down on a sweet pepper and my lips, tongue, throat and stomach exploded with burning pain. Peppers cross-pollinate dangerously. That searing moment was the impetus for my current design, which I call The Scattered Garden.
