This isn't a precedent. Journalists have gone to jail before for not
revealing sources. This one just happens to be making the news.

Y'all do realise that this whole First Amendment right to conceal sources is
all smoke and mirrors? The Supremes determined back in '72 that *supposed*
journalists were NOT protected from grand jury subpeonas. One of the
decentors said that it should be determined on a case by case basis and
somehow *supposed* journalists took that to mean they could do whatever they
wanted whenever they want regardless of the harm they do.

When newspapers, news programs and magazines start running above the fold,
front page retractions and apologies, then and only then, will they get my
vote to give them special priviledges!
