Thanks, Rob. It's a good synopsis of the question of oil production decline. One partial solution the author of the piece missed is nuclear power plants. Check out the use of same in France. People tend to think of oil and cars but oil is used for lots of things, all of which have alternatives. Several sources of energy are and can be used to make electricity. There is only one energy source that would shut us down if it ran out. It's 92 million miles from Earth and cooking along quite nicely.
