My grandfather died of cancer when I was much, much younger. I can remember
driving with my parents to very strange places to pick up cases of laetrile,
supposedly a miracle cancer cure from mexico, yet illegal here. We met
people in faculty housing at Bob Jones University, in the mountains north of
Atlanta and some parking lot near Gainesville Florida. My RN mother gave the
injections to my grandad. It was too late for him. This was in the mid 70's.
Has any research been done with laetrile here and has it ever been shown
effective against cancer?
