AND YOU THINK GASOLINE IS EXPENSIVE?
Gasoline is more expensive than at anytime in American history, but it's a
bargain when compared to many other liquids we purchase on a regular basis.
Here, per gallon, are the prices of some popular products.

Diet Snapple, 16 oz for $1.29. . .$10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea, 16 oz for $1.19. . .$ 9.52 per gallon
Gatorade, 20 oz for $1.59. . .$10.17 per gallon
Evian water, 9 oz for $1.49. . .$21.19 per gallon

Fruit juice is better for you - regardless of the price,
the 'cost' to your body compensates - and if you
'eat' the fruit the fiber is also "valuable"...

For all those folks out there that think rice is "boring" and "bland," try
jasmine rice. For quick and relatively easy, contrary to common belief, use
a short grain, like a sushi rice and make risotto. Toss in a couple of
packets of chicken broth and stir in butter when you are done. You can
flavor with anything!

DH and the kidlets love rice with pork and beans <g> Leftovers are great
for breakfast with a dab of butter and cinnamon and sugar.
