Correction - *my* perception of citizen-forester
providing hiking, camping, canoes for a stream, etc.
the way this "farmer" provides not just "fruits and
vegetables", but a corn maze to wander around in,
etc. - - - a rural Disneyland .... Diversified with a
vengeance.

Grant-writing is taught in some Community Colleges ....
I don't remember if it's a "regular" course or one of
the ones provided as "Continuing Education".
