They make surprisingly sturdy and durable rolling carts that fold up, different models with all different kinds of features. I say surprisingly durable because mine is going on 8 years old and shows no signs of the mistreatment or neglect I impose upon it. I use one of their smaller versions to cart heavy camera gear-filled cases, boxes of books, you name it.  And it's pretty lightweight considering how it holds up.
 
It's not as tough (or nearly as heavy) as my heavy-duty hand truck, which I use for lumber, cast iron or cement/stone planters & the like, but it doesn't need to be.
 
I am a big fan, if you haven't gotten the message! (And I have no interest in the company. Just a satisfied customer).
