Subject: [gwl-g] The case of the sweating philodendron

I just received this question from my son. Any ideas?
I’ve got a small philodendron here in the office, which Pam started for me over a year ago. Amazingly enough, I haven’t killed it, and it seems to be doing pretty well in an office with little natural light. But, I’ve noticed that sometimes when I water it, the leaves start “sweating” -  a drop of water appears on one or two leaves. It’s the weirdest thing. I’ve not heard of a plant doing that. Am I watering it too much?
