Hi All,
Read an interesting piece about Hosta Virus
X.
My recollection of the story is that the
president of the American Hosta Association suggested that members of that group
locate infected plants at various nurseries and garden centres. Once found they
were to bring it to the attention of the manager/owner and suggest that the
batch be removed/quarantined/destroyed.
What do you think of that? Was the pres
right? How much credence should a customer be given? What should store personnel
do?
btw, happy new year folks, it's going to be a great
gardening year- especially veggies. dc
