I planted one Endless Summer in my zone 7 garden at the beginning of summer last year in a probably too sunny spot because the tree nearby has not yet matured.  It showed some scorching of leaves but by late summer and through fall, it bloomed heavily and continuously.  Our winters are relatively mild so I'm expecting no damage from that.

Last year there was a new Hydrangea on the market that reportedly bloomed on new wood. Unfortunately I can't find the name anywhere. Was hoping that somebody here knows what I'm talking about and can even pass along any experience you've had with it in the garden.
