Title: Re: [gwl-g] Hydrangeas Melanie, I grew 4 Endless Summers in my zone 5 garden. Planted in fall of 2003 they all over wintered and bloomed but with mixed success. All were planted in the same area and received the same abound of sun. Last winter we had good snow cover and the temps dropped to 20 below for a few days. I buried all the plants in snow. One plant, the largest was covered with blossoms most of the season. The smallest produced a single stem of blossoms. The other two produced three to four each but did not reblossom. I expect the plants to improve as they mature.

Last year there was a new Hydrangea on the market that reportedly bloomed on new wood. Unfortunately I can't find the name anywhere. Was hoping that somebody here knows what I'm talking about and can even pass along any experience you've had with it in the garden.
