There is a biocontrol program under way on it
http://www.nysaes.cornell.edu/ent/biocontrol/predators/pseudoscymnus_tsugae.html
I remember reports of it clearing up in some localities where the predator was released

The ladybug, Pseudoscymnus tsugae, is available as part of a release program for $1,500 as I remember, from the producer Ecoscientific Solutions, Scranton, PA (570)496-1000. At this point it is more of a process than a product, otherwise we would carry it.

Someone was talking about the fact that woolley adelgid was disappearing.
