In the past I've seen pants for sale in a gardening catalog that have
pockets in the knee's so you can insert knee-pads. Might have been Smith and
Hawkins.

Here I have a foldable kneeler that has handles that you can lean on while
getting up. Unfortunately I haven't used it as much as I should. Tomorrow I
see a specialist for my knee. I injured it while rototilling two weeks ago.

When men use a roto-tiller they have upper body strength to hold the tiller
in place. As a woman, I have to plant my legs to keep the tiller from
bouncing. It puts quite a bit of strain on my knees. Something I should have
thought about a bit more before I decided to dig up half the yard :-(
