The Gospel of Mark as Parables.
My Theory:
To Mark Jesus was a hero.
To Mark Jesus was the best teacher.
To Mark Jesus was one to be emulated.
To Mark, to do what Jesus did was the best way to live.
To Mark to teach what Jesus taught was what he must do.
To Mark to teach in the way Jesus taught was the best way to teach.
Mark believed that Jesus taught ONLY with parables (Mark 4:33-34).
Mark would try to emulate Jesus.
Mark would try to teach only using parables.
Mark's gospel is made up only of Jesus' and Mark's parables.
