Mark has Jesus driving out the buyers and sellers and overturning the tables
of the money-changers in the temple in Mark 11:15-19. This could be
understood simply as temple purification except that Mark has sandwiched
this between Mark 11:12-14 and Mark 11:20-21 the cursing and withering of
the fig tree. This is temple negation by Jesus that Mark seems to be driving
at. GThomas 71 also points toward temple negation by Jesus "I will destroy
[this] house, and no one will be able to build it"
Is there any other possible exegesis of Mark 11:12-21?
