Thanks for that.
I'm afraid it's not working for me.
With Qt things are actually better, but you must have compiled them with /GS+
switch (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894573).
This means that I need to add bufferoverflowU.lib which I can't find!
While I'm trying to figure that out under Visual Studio 2010, I create a
console VC++ application, I include "sybdb.h"
and add the following in main() :
LOGINREC *login;
RETCODE erc;
DBPROCESS *dbproc;
dbinit();
login = dblogin()
dbsetifile((char*)"C:\\freetds\\freetds.conf");
DBSETLUSER(login, "***" );
DBSETLPWD(login, "***" );
DBSETLAPP(login, "myApp");
DBSETLCHARSET(login, "CP1253" );
if ((dbproc = dbopen(login, "sql" )) == NULL)
return -1;
I added to the project:
dblib.lib
FreeTDS.lib
libTDS.lib
WS2_32.lib
When trying to build I get the following error:
