Try modifying your odbc.ini to include an entry of the form:
Address=<Serve rip Address>

It looks like you are trying to connect to an instance of SQL Server, so the
variable Server= should be set according to the odbc.ini documentation.

have a moment.

Paul: OK, read it. FREETDS isn't necessarily needed to be defined right
since freetds will look at the system's file and the home directory's file?



Anywho, specifying FREETDS=~/.freetds.conf isql ... gives me the same error
(ditto with the path in quotes for FREETDS). Thoughts?
