Wow, now I feel like an idiot. Setting TDS_Version in the odbc.ini file to
8.0 is now giving me proper results. The original install must've used the
configure option and thus didn't need the line. Inheriting systems is a
wonderful thing.

At this time a TDSDUMP and some queries would be helpful. It would be
also useful a odbc trace (see
http://www.easysoft.com/support/kb/kb00945.html).
