I have had success using the gcc binaries on HPUX here:
http://mirrors.develooper.com/hpux/

Go down to GNU gcc, downloads, and pick a gcc binary for 11.11 / 64. Follow
the instructions on the webpage for unpacking and installing.

Then make sure the path to gcc is in your path are recompile freeTDS.
