Are you saying that

sqsh -S inimutaba -U b104473

fails but

tsql -S inimutaba -U b104473

succeeds?

If so, a TDSDUMP log might help (or not). A gdb backtrace would be
better, but can be a bit tricky if you've never done it before.

You can get a segment fault by using the wrong TDS protocol version.

'inimutaba' should be a [dataserver] name in freetds.conf, and in that
section you should indicate the TDS version.
