You could start by looking at the samples subdirectory or the src/dblib/unittests and src/ctlib/unittests directories, depending on whether you want to use dblib or ctlib.
(Or tds/unittests if you are feeling adventurous, or odbc/unittest for ODBC, you get the picture.)
