- Subject: [freetds] ODBC ExecDirect statements broken
- Date: Thu, 6 Nov 2003 11:47:35 -0000
Hi guys,
A recent check-in appears to have broken use of the
ODBC SQLExecDirect() where the query uses '?'
tokens for parameters.
e.g. "SELECT * FROM MyTable WHERE Key = ?"
This works perfectly using prepared queries, but produces
this error with SQLExecDirect:
[FreeTDS][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect syntax near '?'., SQLSTATE=42000
I'm using FreeTDS code checked-out an hour ago.
(N.B. This problem occurs with and without a driver manager, so it's
nothing to do with that recent interest of mine :-)
My test code has worked for months with prepared and direct queries
and is unchanged for months, hence my assumption that the problem
is due to a recent check-in.
Cheers,
David
