Nope, any of the APIs (dblib, ctlib, ODBC) can be used against any of the
servers (ASE, ASA, OpenServer applications, MS SQL Server) it just that
some features in ctlib have no support in certain protocol versions (4.2,
7.0). But in general, we haven't gotten very far on implementing TDS
5.0-only features anyway, so it's a moot point.
