Scott,

Thanx for the info, but it does not work too. First I had a problem with the
libtool (older version than my local). So I deleted it and make a link to my
system link tool. Then I managed to successfully compile it with the
following result:
a) gmake check: hangs at test1 (connect). no core, no error, no nothing,
just hangs
b) apache/php: same as before (Segmentation fault)

Got another hint? I am really getting desperate now :)
