- Subject: query length limits with MSSQL 6.5?
- Date: 18 Sep 2001 11:33:23 -0400
One user is getting the infamous "unexpected 0x79 packet" with JDBC on a
page that otherwise works all the time. I suspect she is the first one
to put in enough text to make the query (exec usp_...) be longer than
4096 characters. Couldn't find anything about this in O'Reilly's
"Transact SQL" book or Server Configuration/Options on Enterprise
Manager.
Is there such a limit? Any workarounds? Please let me know.
