- Subject: What is an 0xA5 (165) packet?
- Date: Sun, 25 Oct 1998 23:10:04 -0800 (PST)
I ran a the query
select i, 'a' from t0014 for browse
in SQLServer 6.5. One of the sub-packets starts with 0xA5. My network
sniffer showed the following traffic-
Packet 24, 22:31:07.710142

The unknown portion starts at offset 0x26 in the physical packet 25.
The first two bytes (0x06 and 0x00) appear to be the number of bytes
that follow. Anyone care to take a guess as to what
01 01 00 02 00 04
bytes represent?
