Speakers:
Dave Scandurra was born and raised on Cape Cod MA, Dave started Edible Landscapes of Cape Cod in the Spring of 2013. Specializing in edible plantings, permaculture, organic landcare and education, Edible Landscapes stays busy most of the growing season helping homeowners and gardeners reach their food-growing goals. Dave currently runs the business with his wife Marina Matos and their 2yo daughter, Maple Flora. Their long-term goal is to bring a few more people into the fold, convert to a worker-owner model, and grow the business so they can plant more food and do more community-oriented work.
Patty Love of Barefoot Permaculture is a perpetually curious permaculture designer, teacher, and consultant based in the Genesee River Valley (Rochester, NY) where she practices and studies ecological and regenerative design, permaculture, and edible forest/forage gardening. Her work is informed from her “dirt time,” education, reading, time in nature, conversations, exploration, and spiritual pursuits. She holds two Permaculture Design Certificates, including Earth Activist Training, and is a Certified Permaculture Teacher in addition to traditional BS and MALS Degrees.
