Urban Gardening - Learn how you can get involved!

Join the movement to grow food anywhere in Ithaca (even in raised beds over cement!)

 GSCP Networking session:

Monday, Feb 6th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm

at the Tompkins Public Library (Borg Warner Rm)

Free Meal, Open to All

Starting with existing gardening initiatives, we plan to grow more food

for food pantries and for anyone who feels hungry -

ANYONE interested in city gardening (from novice - to expert) can be involved

The evening will include current Ithaca gardening initiatives, and address new projects!

Community gardens; School gardens; Backyard & curbside gardens; Permaculture parks; Raising chickens, and Food Policy

Breakout sessions following the presentations will give participants an opportunity to connect with existing urban food gardens and  initiate new projects in the city and town of Ithaca.

Co-sponsored by Greenstar Community Food Projects, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County and the Tompkins County Public Library.

Please register HERE

so we know how much to cook!
