About the Citizen Pruner Volunteer Program:
Citizen Pruner Volunteers get LOTS of hands-on pruning practice helping to maintain street trees and shrubs in the City of Ithaca. After 3 training sessions at Cooperative Extension, volunteers work once a week from May to October and are free to come weekly or as time permits. Staff from Extension and the City are always on hand during work sessions to help guide volunteers in making pruning decisions. For more information, call Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County (607) 272-2292 ext. 126 or email Monika Roth at mr55 AT cornell.edu.
