Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair
Saturday, March 5, 12:00-3:00pm

at Boynton Middle School cafeteria, 1601 N. Cayuga St., Ithaca

What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)? Learn about this partnership between consumers and farmers, meet and talk with 21 area CSA farmers in one place!  In addition to the traditional vegetable CSA, attendees will find fruits, berries, meat, cheese, poultry, eggs, yogurt, herbs and herbal products, baked goods, and more. All participants will be entered in a drawing for a variety of goodies donated by the farms, and those looking to sign up for a share can do so on the spot. See the list of participating farms at: http://ccetompkins.org/agriculture/ag-events/csa-fair

We'll have activities to keep the kids busy, space to sit and review farm information.  Find out more about Ithacash, the Finger Lakes Meat Project, Healthy Food for All, and more! Plus - come hungry because "Healthy Food For All" will have award-winning vegetarian chili from  Moosewood Restaurant for sale.  The CSA Fair is free and open to the public. No need to register – just show up! For more information, contact Avi Miner at CCE-Tompkins, 607-272-2292 or agm32 AT cornell.edu.
