Hello folks!

Just wanted to share a great opportunity for someone looking to live as part of collective homesteading project west of Ithaca. Please spread the word! Here are the details...

Room available in Mecklenburg collective house. Available immediately until June 1st, with possibility of longer. Enjoy large, well-maintained home with 4 others and 1 small hypoallergenic dog. This sunny 10x14 ft. room has option to be furnished and includes lovely wooden floors, built in drawers and large closet. $300 includes all utilities

The property contains almost 16 acres of woods and field, large swimming pond, barn with ducks/geese. We also have a large garden, fruit trees, and room to grow! Group interests include permaculture, music making, zines, games, Ithaca Freeskool, feminism, cooking, homesteading and more! All self identified genders and people of color are encouraged to inquire.

We are seeking a fun individual interested in living communally, open to hosting events such as potluck/house shows, taking equal responsibility of house chores, and house meeting participation. Ideal candidate should be interested in consensus model decision making. Ideally no more additional pets.

If interested, please email us your phone number and some details about yourself, including:
- your passions/ how you spend your time
- your experiences with communal living and consensus building
- when you are available to visit and your preferred move-in date.

There are some pictures in the link below.

Thanks for reading and sharing!

- Matt
