Folks --

Speaking of new perspectives, this just came in the
recent issue of Library Journal; a new book by Tatha
Wiley -- Paul and the Gentile Women: Reframing
Galatians. ISBN 0-8264-1707-8. Continuum. A few
citations from the blurb:

"[Wiley] brings to Galatians the new perspective of
contemporary Pauline scholars, who differ
significantly from previous generations of scholars,
rejecting the idea that Paul's conversion involved a
radical break between his Pharisaic past and his
Christian present...Paul was Jewish his entire
life...the requirement of circumcision for entry into
the Christian community...had significant implications
for gentile women as well as the men...this
interesting and well-researched book is recommended
for academic libraries." (3/15/05, p 90)

Has anyone heard anything else about this book?
