Before I ask my question, may I introduce myself? I'm a French Student of
Paris, making a PhD about the epistolarity in Paul's epistles and its
posterity in the other NT epistle (and maybe in Ignatius of Antioch).
I've been searching for a long time resources about this concern: what
happened to Paul's epistle once they were written? Of course they were
carried by a courier who was sometimes one of Paul's co-workers like
Timotheus or Stephanas. But who read them? Were they read in front of the
communities? Were they commented? How rough people like (for instance) the
Galatians do understand the subtle argumentation of the apostle?
All the references I found were a bit inaccurate and fuzzy. Can you help me?
I'd owe many thanks to you!
