Dear list members,
ISTM that answering the following questions will very much help me
understand Paul.
How pervasive was an Apocalyptic understanding of history among Jews in
the first century?
How pervasive was an Apocalyptic understanding of history among
Pharisees?
Did the development of various Jewish sects in the last centuries B.C.E.
represent different responses to the same stimuli?
I would appreciate your help in answering these questions.
sincerely,
Bob Bayer
