Arnebeck letter to Congress re Presidential Electoral Challenge
by Clifford O. Arnebeck, Jr.
Chairman of the Ohio Honest Election Campaign and Co-Chair of the
Alliance for Democracy Counsel of Record for the Contestors in Rev. Bill
Moss et al. v. Bush et al., Supreme Court of Ohio, Case No. 04-2088
January 6, 2005
"A consortium of news organizations took the initiative to count all the
Florida votes after the inauguration of George W. Bush. Thus, history
now records the fact that Albert Gore actually won the Florida popular
vote had all votes been properly counted."

Your Open Letter was most interesting to read. I felt compelled to
share it with others involved in a project dedicated to helping
communities around the country and around the world to build and operate
community-based recording studios. The technology enables
state-of-the-art recording studios to be housed on low-end computers,
with extremely low-cost investment, even zero cost for those without
financial resources.
In Australia, electronic voting systems must be capable of audit and
public scrutiny throughout the voting process. In fact, a certifiable
computer can be set up quite easily, and with very little cost, simply
by downloading the same software from their elections site, by anyone,
anywhere in the world.
This raises the possibility that here, in the United States, citizens
can set up a robust, full-fledged electronic voting system, whether
officially recognized, or otherwise, for "peanuts". The only
requirement is a community-based network spread across the country, and
a centralized support effort to coordinate the network's work.
Open Studios encourages you to bring this observation to your personal
network of populists, and consider how such a network might help you to
fight fire with fire.
We're into the arts and music stuff, but we may be able to help in some
way.
Respectfully,
Tom Poe
