Hi: Here's a Gigalaw.com blurb that brings a smile to your face. MS was facing one of the greatest boondoggles in history, had it gone forward with its' orginal fiasco. As it is, I suspect they still will have a problem selling their "home entertainment center". What do you think?

Microsoft Eases DVD-Copying Restrictions in Windows
Microsoft Corp. announced that it is easing the DVD-copying
restrictions it planned to build into new entertainment software coming
out this fall, in response to consumer protests. Windows XP Media Center
Edition, a variation on the Windows XP operating system, combines the
functions of a television set, stereo and personal computer and marks
Microsoft's most ambitious effort yet to bring the personal computer into
the living room.
