Weird things afoot with the version of the Punks of the Piedmont comp that was uploaded to Bandcamp — even though Nick P is credited as having mastered the comp, the version on Bandcamp has had no level matching done at all. 

If anyone on here knows those FEEL/FREE folks, ask ‘em what’s up with that.

I always find them stressful because my email inbox fills up with emails from bands, and like 3/4 of them say “hey we don’t have anything new for Bandcamp Friday, but . . . “

So I have kinda gotten into the habit of doing my Bandcamp browsing on Saturday mornings. Today, for the first time in a long time, I dipped into the tags for Triangle cities. My haul is the dozen or so entries at the top of my collection, including a new John Howie Jr album, plus a bunch of somewhat older things:
