TUESDAY, APRIL 3RD @ 8PM- _Zine Release_: Locally
Produced Zine: VORTEXT/TERROR INCOGNITA will be released on this date.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4TH 8-9:30PM- _Trans Discussion
Group_, co-hosted by the North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition and
Internationalist Books, is a bi-monthly support/discussion group for
people who identify as trans, genderqueer, or gender-questioning.
Meetings provide a safe space for folks to share and process
experiences, be of support to one another, and organize around issues
that affect the trans community. Open to anyone who needs/wants trans
support. (Tea and snacks will be provided!)

SATURDAY, APRIL 7TH @
2PM- _Really Really Free Market_! "When was the last time someone
invited you to take anything you wanted, as much as you wanted, and
didn't want a thing in return? You have to admit, this type of thing
just doesn't happen very often. It did happen on Saturday 17, 2005 at
Carrboro's Town Commons, and continues to happen the first Saturday of
every month." So come one out and enjoy an awesome Saturday afternoon in

MONDAY, APRIL 9TH @ 8PM- _Israel/Middle East Discussion Group: _With
growing public hype surrounding Iran and nukes, iBooks will start its
first Israel/Middle East group to come together and start talking about
the tensions/issues that face the Middle East (specifically on Israel,
the Arab states, and Iran). "How To" dialogues on the specific region in
question, focusing most on people's understandings/experiences and
continuing with discussions based on current affairs and historical
texts (and multimedia engage participants!!). It will be in dialogue
form, with a neutral facilitator, focusing on people's individual
reactions/perspectives on the information presented as a way to drive
discussion.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11TH @ 7PM- Author Reading with Al
Burian: the author of the long-running personal zine _Burn Collector_.
His work has garnered praise from such legitimate institutions as the
_Utne Reader_ and _McSweeneys Best Nonrequired Reading_. Beginning in
the mid-nineties, Burian has distributed his work through the tight-knit
network of the DIY punk music/art scene. He has published 16 issues of
the zine, two anthologies, and a book of comics. He has been doing
reading/speaking performances since the year 2000.

FRIDAY, APRIL 13TH
@ 7PM- _Marie Mason and Eric McDavid Political Prisoner Support Show:
_This presentation is focused on long-term anarchist prisoner support,
specifically for Eric McDavid and Marie Mason. The show will also cover
ways to more effectively grow a culture of resistance that can breach
the prison walls and sustain us for a long time to come, as well as a
security culture beyond 101 workshop with awesome guest speakers!
