Hey all. I wanted to forward some information I received in a
registered letter from Gordy McDowell-Manor, a Wuss. Thanks, Matt.

Greetings:

It has come to my attention many are confused about where to spend
their New Year's Eve. I have graciously consented to remind you:
there really is no quandary. New Year's Eve should be spent at the
famed Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC. It is there, and only there, that
you will experience:

-The seemingly endless string of 100% original 100% soft rock 100%
hits of us, the Wusses!
-The dusty country sounds of the hard-twanging Texas Peters!
-The harmony and the spectacle of Pinky and Duke!
-The reverent, respectful, and always appropriate MC'ing and comedy of
David Nahm!

More convincing details required?

1) We're giving away not ONE, not THREE, but TWO dinner-for-two LAKE
CRUISES (one on Lake Norman and the other on Smith Mountain Lake)!
[It's come to my attention that I need to clarify: the cruise giveaway
part is not a joke...we are doing this for real.]

2) Many events will feature champagne toasts. However, no other
events feature champagne toasts WHERE THE WUSSES ARE THERE.

3) All other celebrations in the area are ringing in 2012, a year
which my subscription to Mayan Amplifier Magazine ("They go down to
zero") informs me is the END OF ALL TIME. The Wusses once again
distinguish themselves: by ringing in 1979, we're buying you more than
30 years.

4) No other NYE event can boast a headliner with six Handsome Contest
Winners and 1977=92s Nobel Laureate in Baby Making.

My agent tells me I should also include these cryptic strings for
something called a "Facebook Event"(?)...

...and these others for purchasing tickets from some sort of
mechanical man.

I hope they mean something to you.

Cheers,

Gordy Mc-D.M.
