TUESDAY FEB 8 @ 7pm: Monthly Craft Night! w/ Paper Art Skillshare

Come by to start, work on, or complete any craft projects you've been working on! Not just a stitch and bitch, any projects are welcome!

WEDNESDAY FEB 9 @ 8pm: Trans Discussion Group

Trans Discussion Group, co-hosted by the North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition and Internationalist Books, is a bi-monthly support/discussion group for people who identify as trans, genderqueer, or gender-questioning. Our meetings will provide a safe space for folks to share and process experiences, be of support to one another, and organize around issues that affect the trans community.

Open to anyone who needs/wants trans support.

THURSDAY FEB 10 @ 7pm: (Graffiti Movie Night) "Exit Through the Gift Shop"

The story of how an eccentric French shop keeper and amateur film maker attempted to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner.

THURSDAY FEB 17 @ 7pm: Earth First! Movie Night: Ancient Futures, Learning from Ladakh

Ladakh, or Little Tibet, is a wildly beautiful desert land high in the western Himalayas. It is a place of few resources and an extreme climate. Yet, for more than a thousand years, it has been home to a thriving culture. The breakdown of Ladakh's culture and environment forces us to re-examine what we really mean by progress - not only in the developing parts of the world, but in the industrialized world as well.

MONDAY FEB 21 @ 6:30pm: BOB SHELDON DAY 2011!!

Join us for an evening full of festivities to commemorate the life of the founder of Internationalist Books, Bob Sheldon!

In suburban Buenos Aires, thirty unemployed auto-parts workers walk into their idle factory, roll out sleeping mats and refuse to leave.
